ZONSKY Carbon Black Content Test Apparatus is a specialized device used to determine the carbon black content in polymer materials, particularly plastics and rubber. It utilizes pyrolysis or gravimetric analysis to quantify the carbon black percentage in a sample. The device measures key parameters, including thermal stability and dispersion quality, which are essential for evaluating material performance in automotive, electrical, and industrial applications. Accurate measurement ensures compliance with industry standards and helps optimize material formulations for desired properties.Talk To Our Team

Details
Burning Boat
Made of quartz tube with an inner diameter of Ø30mm and a length of (400 ± 50) mm. Equipped with a plug for temperature measurement and a nitrogen supply tube.
Gas Flow Control
Nitrogen gas (oxygen content ≤ 0.5%) flows through the combustion tube at (1.7 ± 0.3) L/min, maintaining a stable flow during heating.
Flowmeter
Uses a rotor flowmeter with a range of 0–3 L/min.
Tube Furnace
Uses a Hough-type furnace. The effective heating length is 300 mm.
Heating Rate
300°C–350°C within 10 min, then 450°C for 10 min, then (600 ± 5)°C after the third 10 min, maintaining this temperature for 10 min.
Burning Boat (Second)
Uses fused quartz tube.
Boat Specifications
75 mm long, 25 mm wide, 8.5 mm deep.
Feeding Method
Uses bar magnet and platinum wire pulling method.
