The Fire Resistance Test Apparatus for Rigid Thermoplastic Materials is a specialized testing device designed to evaluate the fire performance of rigid thermoplastics under controlled combustion conditions. 1. Test box/fume hood: a combustion box with a volume of 2.0M³, without ventilation;
2. Burner:
2.1 Structure: the gas s upply part of the burner is Ф10mm±0.2mm in inner diameter; the head is a strip-shaped nozzle with a length of 48mm±1.0mm, 3.0mm±0.2mm;
2.2 Flame size: the inner flame (blue) is 6mm±1.0mm, the outer flame is 35mm±1.0mm,
2.3 Installation: the burner is at an angle of 45°, and the surface of the outer flame touching the sample is 50mm±1.0mm away from the bottom of the sample;
3. Sample bracket: It is a U-shaped stainless steel bracket, with a shape of 318mm in length, 175mm in width, and a stainless steel side width of 20mm;318mm in length, 175mm in width, and a stainless steel side width of 20mm;
4. Fixer: Fix the sample holder in a vertical position, so that the flame can directly act on the surface of the sample;
5. Gas source:
5.1 Gas: butane gas and purity not less than 95%; (customers need to bring their own)
5.2 Flow meter: Rotameter is used, and the flow range is adjustable from 60-600mL/min;
5.3 Pressure: 0~0.15Mpa pressure gauge display;
5.4 Control valve: regulating pressure and flow;
6. Ignition method: high pressure automatic ignition
6.1 Fire supply time: 0.1-99.99s/m can be set, and the flame stops burning when the set time is reached;
6.2 Length of time of continued burning and glowing after extinction of burner: Automatically record time with a resolution of 0.01s;
