Material Flame Retardant Test, Fire Test Far25.853 - Standard Name
Far25.853: Fire Protection for compartment interior
Far25.853: Fire Protection of Aircraft Interior Materials - Flame Retardant and Fire Test
The ignition source for this test is also the same as the horizontal burning test. The test is conducted in a combustion chamber with an open door, or in a test chamber of 300mm×300mm×600mm (height) with the top and sides open. Aviation insulators, electrical conductors and cables should be tested by this test.
