In order to ensure the safety of vehicles in use, interior materials are usually required to be flame retardant. That is, the interior materials either have non-combustible properties. If a certain part of the interior material is flammable, it must meet specific flame retardant performance requirements.

Test to determine the horizontal burning rate of materials horizontal combustion performance < a i=2>> Requirements: The horizontal burning rate does not exceed 100mm per minute The flame is extinguished before reaching the test point > Product range: Seats, seat cushions and accessories, internal bushings, sound insulation materials, heat insulation materials, lamps and accessories 2, - Test to determne the vertical burning rate of materials Vertical burning performance > Requirements: The vertical burning rate does not exceed 100mm per minute > Product range: Curtains, sun visors, similar hanging materials 3. - Test to determine the melting of materials droplet performance > Requirements: The molten droplets produced by combustion do not cause the burning of the cotton wool below > Product range: Car interior roof material, car interior roof bushing
