Fire Resistance Testing Apparatus For Grooved Couplings And Fittings

1. Scope of application:

1.1 Fire resistance testing apparatus for grooved fittings in automatic sprinkler systems. It is widely used in the production inspection and development research of various fire hoses in production factories, product quality inspection institutes, scientific research institutions and other units, and other similar product related tests.

1.2 In the piping system connecting the grooved couplings, the hydrostatic pressure with the rated working pressure can withstand the fire resistance test for 15 minutes, and there is no leakage and deformation damage after the test.

1.3 The rated working pressure of grooved couplings and  fittings is 1.2MPa, 1.6MPa, 2.5MPa and other series of pressure grades;

1.4 The nominal diameters of grooved couplings and fittings are 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 65mm, 80mm, 100mm, 125mm and 150mm as standard, if you need other specifications, you need to buy them separately.

2. Compliant standards:

It meets the standard requirements of Section 7.14 of DIN 14521-1987、 NF S61-820-1/IN12010、NF S61-820-2/IN12010 "Automatic Sprinkler System—Part 11: Grooved Couplings and Fittings".

3.4.1 Combustion oil pan: length 600mm, width 300mm, height 200mm, made of stainless steel;

3.4.2 Fuel: inject 12.5L of 95# gasoline, add pad water, and make the oil surface 50mm away from the oil pan mouth;

3.4.3 Installation position: the height of the oil pan mouth is 200mm from the sample height.
