Horizontal Flammability Tester For Cellular Plastic

1. Scope of application:

It is suitable for evaluating the horizontal combustion performance of foamed plastics small samples under laboratory conditions with a density less than 250kg/M³ measured according to ISO 845-1985 under small flame.

2. Compliant standards:

Comply with ISO 9772:2001 test standard "Cellular plastic—Determination of horizontal burning characteristic of small speciments subjected to a small flame".

3. Main parameters:

3.1 Combustion box:

lCabinet: 0.5m³, it is processed and formed by CNC machine tools, and the arc shape is beautiful and generous. High-quality SUS304 stainless material and baking paint, it has the characteristics of beautiful rust, anti-corrosion and so on.

lThe top of the box is equipped with a ventilation and exhaust system, which can discharge the exhaust gas to the outdoors when the test is completed; during the test, the system is in a stopped state.

lThe front of the box is provided with a tempered glass observation window that can be sealed during the test, which is convenient for observing the test situation.

3.2 Burning torch:

lZONSKY's self-made blowtorch fully complies with the ISO 10093:1998 standard.

lFlamethrower specification: inner diameter Ф9.5mm, cylinder length 100mm without tail device.

lBlowtorch wing fixed: the internal length of the wing top opening is 48mm, and the internal width is 1.3mm.

Flame height: The height of the blue flame core is adjustable from 25-30mm.

3.3 Other parameters:

lLight meter: The light intensity in the measuring box is less than or equal to 20lx

lGas source: natural gas with a calorific value of 37MJ/M³.

lPressure: U-shaped tube pressure gauge, 50mm water column height.

lSpecification of standard sample: length 150mm, width 50mm, 5 < thickness ≤ 13 

mm (or according to the test standard)

lAmbient temperature: room temperature ~ 40 ℃;
