1. Scope of application:
1.1 It is suitable for measuring the non-continued burning after extinction of burner performance of single plastic wire, control, cross-linking, elevator, marine, mining cable, etc.
2. Compliant standards:
2.1 Meet the standard requirements of IEC60332-1-1:2004 "Test on electric and optical fibre cables under fire conditions—Part 11: Test for vertical flame propagation for a single insulated wire or cable—Apparatus".
2.2 Comply with IEC60332-1-2:2004 "Test on electric and optical fibre cables under fire conditions—Part 12: Test for vertical flame propagation for a single insulated wire or cable—Procedure for 1KW pre-mixed flame" standard requirements.
3. Main parameters:
3.1 Test box / fume hood: volume is 1.0M³;
3.2 Combustion torch: 1KW premixed combustion nozzle (made according to GB/T5169.14-2017 standard), the height of the blue flame core is 46-78mm, and the total flame height is 148-208mm. It's made of pure copper.
3.3 Gas source:
3.3.1 Gas: propane gas, with a purity of not less than 95%. (prepared by customer)
3.3.2 Flow meter: Rotameter is used and the flow range is adjustable from 100-1000mL/min;
3.4 Metal case: height of 1200mm, width of 300mm, depth of 450mm;
3.5 Ignition method: high pressure automatic ignition.
