Cone Calorimeter Comply with ISO 9705,ISO 5660 standards,It is suitable for buildings and large complexes (including rolling stock, vehicles, warehouses and the way they are constructed) as well as for extensive fire performance test verification of raw materials, buildings and solid models.
The Heat Release Rate Test Apparatus is a device used to measure the heat release rate (HRR) of materials during combustion. By exposing samples to a controlled heat or flame source, this apparatus quantifies the amount of heat energy released over time, which is a critical factor in understanding a material’s contribution to fire growth.
The test provides data on peak heat release, total heat release, and the rate at which heat is emitted, helping assess the fire performance of materials like building components, textiles, and furnishings. This apparatus is essential in fire safety testing, as materials with lower heat release rates are generally safer in reducing fire intensity and spread.
Compliance:ISO 9705/ISO 5660
Combustion Chamber:An enclosed space where the sample to be tested is placed, usually with controlled temperature and atmosphere.
Gas Analysis System:Used to measure the gas components produced during the combustion process, such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, etc., in order to evaluate the composition of the combustion products.
Heat Release Rate Measurement System:Used to measure the amount of heat released by the sample during the combustion process in real time, usually using sensors such as heat flow meters or thermocouples.
Constant Pressure Method:The sample to be tested is combusted at a set pressure and the amount of heat released during the combustion process is measured to determine the heat release rate.
Constant Volume Method:The sample is burned at a set volume and the heat released during combustion is measured to determine the rate of heat release.
Heat Release Rate (HRR):The amount of heat released per unit of time during combustion of a material, usually expressed as thermal power per unit area (kW/m²)
Peak Heat Release Rate (PHRR):The maximum heat release rate achieved during combustion, usually an important parameter in the combustion process.
