ZONSKY Flooring Radiant Panel Test Apparatus This test method evaluates the radiant flux of horizontally mounted floor coverings when exposed to a small flaming ignition source in a radiant heat environment within an inclined test chamber. It applies to various flooring materials, including textile carpets, soft wooden boards, wood boards, rubber boards, plastic floors, and floor-spraying materials.

 

The apparatus assesses the flammability properties of flooring materials, considering factors such as backing material and base composition, which can influence test results. The test determines and describes the combustion characteristics of flooring materials when exposed to fire under controlled laboratory conditions.
