Heat Deformation Tester

The ZONSKY Wire Heating Deformation Testing Machine is designed to assess the thermal deformation resistance of wire insulation under high temperatures. This apparatus subjects wire samples to controlled heating, measuring critical parameters such as insulation softening, elongation, and structural integrity at elevated temperatures.Talk To Our Team

This equipment determines the thermal deformation degree of materials like plastics and wire rubber. The test process involves:

    • Placing the sample freely in the testing apparatus for 30 minutes at a specific temperature.
    • Sandwiching the sample between parallel plates, applying a specified load, and maintaining the same temperature for another 30 minutes.
    • Measuring the thickness difference before and after heating.
    • Calculating the deformation rate by dividing the thickness difference by the original thickness.

Heat Deformation Tester Standards:

    • UL 2556-2015 – Wire and Cable Test Methods (Section 7.8 and Figure 13)
    • UL 758-2016 – Standard for Appliance Wiring Material (Section 99)
