What is the 45 Degree Flammability Tester?

The 45 Degree Flammability Tester is a specialized device used to evaluate the flammability characteristics of materials by positioning a sample at a 45-degree angle and exposing it to a controlled ignition source. This test measures parameters like ignition time, flame spread rate, and burn characteristics, providing data on the material's combustibility under inclined conditions.

Main parameters:

1.. Test chamber: the internal dimensions are 350mm high, 370mm wide, and 220mm deep. At the top are 12 vent holes with a diameter of 12.7mm. The front is a glass observation window;

2. Test frame: It can support and fix the test frame, make it tilt at an angle of 45°, and adjust its relative position to the front of the flame according to the different thickness of the sample;

3. Sample clamp: It consists of two U-shaped steel plates with a thickness of 2.0mm, and the inner frame size is 152mm*38mm. The sample is fixed in the middle of the two plates, and the two sides are clamped with clamps;

4. Burner: Consists of 41/No.2 syringe needle;

5. Fuel gas: butane (chemically pure)
