The Fire Resistance Test Equipment Comply with the standard requirements of ISO 8191.1:1988 and BS 5852-2006.use to Upholstered Furniture—Assessment of the resistance to ignition of mattress and sofa.
This equipment evaluates the fire resistance of mattresses and sofas by applying ignition sources under standardized conditions, monitoring parameters such as ignition resistance, heat release rate, flame propagation, and smoldering behavior to determine compliance with fire safety standards for upholstered furniture.
ISO 8191.1:1988 "Furniture—Assessment of the ignitability of upholstered furniture—Part 1: ignition source: smouldering cigarette";
BS 5852-2006 "Methods of test for assessment of the ignitability of upholstered seating by smouldering and flaming ignition sources".
Composition of test equipment:
test box, test apparatus, test platform, smoldering (lit cigarette), butane burner, wood stack ignition source, and ignition source control part;
Test box (the Tenderer provides test room)
The burning chamber is with ventilation facilities. The airflow rate around the test bench provided by the supply and exhaust system is 0.02m/S~0.2m/s, which contains enough oxygen and does not interfere with the burning test.
Laboratory specifications: length 2.2m, width 2.5m, height 3.7m, the upper part is the cone-shaped smoke exhaust part and is equipped with a frequency converter to adjust the exhaust wind speed;
Material: It is composed of three layers. The inner is stainless steel, the outer is high-temperature electrostatic baking paint, and the middle is asbestos layer for heat insulation;
There is an air inlet at the bottom of the front of the test box;
There is a door with observation window in front. The height of the door is 1.8m and the width is 0.8m.
The diagonal length of the steel mesh is 28mm.
