Impact Testing Machine Comply with Section 1400 of UL1581-2016 and Section 7.13.2 of UL2556-2015 and Figure 16.Applicable to the verification of the impact resistance of insulation and/or covering wires and cables when struck by a free-falling weight.
The Impact Testing Machine is designed to evaluate the toughness and impact resistance of materials by subjecting them to sudden force. This apparatus applies controlled impact energy to test specimens, measuring parameters such as fracture resistance, absorbed energy, and deformation.Applicable to the verification of the impact resistance of insulation and/or covering wires and cables when struck by a free-falling weight.
Compliance:Section 1400 of UL 1581-2016 and Section 7.13.2 of UL 2556-2015 and Figure 16.
1. Locking device with height release;
2. Impact object: weight 0.454kg (1lb)–0,+2%, diameter 38mm (1.5in)–2,+0%, and length 51mm (2in), with rounded edges.
3. Impact anvil: It consists of a solid rectangular steel block with a length of 200mm (8in), a width of 150mm (6in) and a height of 105mm (4.125in);
4. Detection device: a 120V AC power supply, which can indicate the connection between the conductor and the impact object or impact anvil. The circuit should trigger and maintain the on signal when there is any momentary turn-on.
5. Impact height: 610mm(24in)–0,+2%.
